Registration for Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 has started. Along with graduation, B.ED qualification can apply. The pattern of this exam is mentioned below. Also CTET Syllabus is given here.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has allowed registration for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test for the first session of 2024 from November 3 to 23. This exam can be taken by B.Ed graduates. The exam will be held on 21 January 2024 in two shifts. CTET Exam Pattern
The exam will have two question papers. Paper-1 and Paper-2.
Paper-1: For teachers teaching classes 1 to 5.
Paper-2: For teachers teaching 6th to 8th class.
Aspirants who want to qualify for tier two class, have to appear for 2 papers. Apply for two papers and pay the fee while applying. The question paper will have a total of 150 multiple choice questions, carrying one mark per question.
There will be negative evaluation for every wrong answer.

Topics of CTET Paper-1
Paper-1 exam will be conducted for teachers teaching 1st to 5th class students.
Syllabus Subjects: Child Development and Curriculum, Language-1, Language-2, Environmental Studies, Mathematics each with 30 questions of 30 marks for a total of 150 marks in Paper-1 examination.
Topics of CTET Paper-2
Paper-2 Examination for teachers teaching 6th to 8th class students.
Paper-2 Subjects: Child Development and Curriculum, Language-1(Compulsory), Language-2(Compulsory) 30 questions will be asked from each subject for 30 marks in each of these three sections.
- Maths and Science (for Maths, Science teachers) for 60 marks, 60 questions will be asked.
- Social Studies / Social Science (for Social Science Teachers) For 60 marks, 60 questions will be asked.
- Paper-2 exam will be written for total 150 marks.
