The final selection list has been released for the recruitment of Village Administrative Officer (Village Accountant) vacant posts in various taluks of Mandya District Revenue Unit. The names of selected candidates for a total of 54 posts have been announced.
Notification was issued on 12-03-2020 for the recruitment of 54 Village Accountants in the district. Verification of original documents was conducted for those selected on the basis of merit and reservation in the ratio of 1:5 among the applied candidates.
On the basis of merit and reservation among the candidates who appeared for the document verification, the eligible candidates were released as a provisional shortlist in the ratio of 1:1 on January 07, 2023. Objections to this list have also been received and after verification the final shortlist has now been released.
Just because the name is in the final selection list, unless the appointment order is given to the candidates, they will not have any right to the post of Village Administrative Officer and it should not be assumed that they have been officially selected and appointed for that post. It is suggested that only after verifying and confirming the genuineness of the original documents, action will be taken to issue the appointment order.
