Here is a good news for students who are studying in B.Ed and D.Ed. Students belonging to minority community, Muslim, Christian, Jain, Sikh, Buddhist and Parsi community practicing in 2022 and 23 years can apply for this incentive.

If you are studying in B.Ed and D.Ed in the year 2022-23, definitely apply for this and get financial assistance. On behalf of the Minority Welfare Department, online applications have been invited to provide special incentive funds to the students of the minority community who are studying in B.Ed and D.Ed in the year 2022-23.
Who can apply?
Students belonging to minority community, Muslim, Christian, Jain, Sikh, Buddhist and Parsi community who are pursuing B.Ed and D.Ed in the year 2022-23 can apply for this scholarship.
The purpose of this is that for the welfare of so many students and economically backward minority students in rural and urban areas, there is a situation where half of the students drop out of education because they are not financially strong. But this incentive is given with a view to encourage the continuation of education and provide financial assistance to purchase learning and teaching materials.
How to apply?
- Eligible candidates for this incentive should apply through Seva Sindhu https://sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in/ portal.
- Last date to apply is 10-12-2022. Application must be submitted by this date.
- Students studying B.Ed courses recognized by National Council for Teacher Education and D.Ed courses recognized by State Department of Education Research and Training in Government/Semi Government/Aided and Private Colleges are eligible to apply.
- A special incentive of Rs.25,000 will be credited online to the bank account of the concerned students for the applied candidates.
- You can apply for this incentive only if you are a resident of Karnataka.
- Grants are given every year for a maximum of two years depending on the duration of the courses.
- Income of parents is maximum Rs.6 lakhs. should not be more than
- Candidates will be selected for the incentive based on the merit of the qualifying examination and the marks obtained in the previous examination.
- Minimum 50 marks to apply.
50 percent of the grant released for each district is earmarked for girls, 25 percent for D.Ed course and 75 percent for B.Ed course. If the candidates give false information and stop the education halfway, the incentive money will be withdrawn from them.
