The Madras High Court on Thursday ruled that teachers who do not pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) cannot continue in service.
Justice D. Krishnakumar issued this judgment while dismissing the writ petitions.
The Secretary of School Education issued a letter dated May 2, 2019, instructing the relevant authorities to ensure strict adherence to instructions, and if appropriate, appropriate legal action will be taken.
